I was born on 31 January 1979 - a Wedensday: I know it was a Wedensday, because the date is blue in my mind and Wedensdays are always blue, like the number nine or the sound of loud voices arguing. I like my birth date, because of the way I´m able til visualise most of the numbers in it as smooth and round shapes, semilar to pebbles on a beach. That is because they are prime numbers: 31, 19, 179, 97, 79 and 1979 are all divisible only by themselves and one. I can recognise every prime up to 9973 by their 'pebble-like' quality. It´s just the way my brain works.
Numbers are my friends and they are always around me. Each one is unique and has its own personlity. Eleven i s friendly and five is loud, whereas four is both shy and quiet - its my favourite number, perhaps because it reminds me of myself. Some are big - 23, 667, 1179 - while others are small: 6, 13, 581. Some are beautiful, like 333, and some ar ugly, like 289. To me every number is special.
Mine is an unusual an complex type, through which I see numbers as shapes, colours, textures and motions. The number one, for example is a brilliant and bright white, like somone shining a torch beam into my eyes. Five is at clap of thunder or the sound af waves crashing against rocks. Thirty-seven is lumpy like prroidge, while eighty-nine reminds me of fallng snow.

Chromesthesia or sound-to-color synesthesia is a type of synesthesia in which heard sounds automatically and involuntarily evoke an experience of color. With sounds inducing color concurrents, chromesthesia is more accurately termed sound-color synesthesia. Individuals with sound-color synesthesia are consciously aware of their synesthetic color associations/perceptions in daily life. Synesthetes that perceive color while listening to music experience the colors in addition to the normal auditory sensations that would be triggered in the average person. That is, the synesthetic color experience supplements, but does not obscure real, modality-specific perceptions. As with other variations of synesthesia, individuals with sound-color synesthesia perceive the synesthetic experience spontaneously, and without effort, and in a way that the individual learns to accept as normal within their realm of experience.
I saw all my colours in my mind´s eye. Wild lines verging on the insane formed drawings befor my very eyes.
Colour is the keyboard, the eyes are the hammers, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand which plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul.
